Executive – Design and Development (Level I/ II)

Summary:

Executive – Design & Development (Level I/ II) will work with the design team and assist them for different technical tasks. With this position, Executive – Design & Development (Level I/ II) will learn strategic approaches to carry out designing tasks. To be a successful mechanical design engineer, you should be mathematically and mechanically minded and have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. A top-notch mechanical design engineer should possess detailed knowledge of engineering and design principles and be able to find creative solutions to technical problems.

Key Roles and Responsibility

• Technical Assistance – S/He will have to work closely with the design team and execute tasks as per their instructions. Meeting with design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
• Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems.
• Planning and executing mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.
• Create detailed drawings and Bills of Materials for mechanical components and assemblies..
• Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs.
• Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
• Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Documentation and Record keeping.
• Design work is typically office based, however you’ll go on visits to Site and plant will also be required.
• Moderate traveling required as per tasks.

Requirement

• Education : Bachelor in mechanical engineering.
• Must Needed : IT and CAD knowledge.
• A minimum of 1 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
• Proficiency with engineering design programs such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, Creo. Solidworks will be preferable.
• Strong math and IT skills.
• Undertake complex calculations.
• Design the aesthetics, materials and functionality of components.
