Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Executive – Supply Chain Management to manage end-to-end supply chain operations, with a focus on import/export logistics, documentation, inventory control, vendor coordination, and cost optimization, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient movement of goods from procurement to final delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor the logistics arrangement and movement of goods globally.
- Liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
- Monitor shipment schedules, track shipments, and address any delays or issues that arise.
- Prepare and process import/export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions and documentation.
- Knowledge & Handling of Pre & Post shipment document which include commercial invoices, packing list, L/C documents, importing country certification, Customs/ Insurance declaration Certificate of Origin & many more document prepared as per customer requirement.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Coordinate and track customs clearance processes. Follow up with CHAs for clearance.
- Resolve any issues related to customs inspections, tariffs, and duties.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding import/export activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Shipment planning & coordination with internal & external stakeholders.
- To liaise with production team & dispatch team, transporter and freight forwarder, ensuring that cargo meets cut off time.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of goods for trading product.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for inventory accuracy and control.
- Coordination with procurement for negotiate rates and terms with carriers and service providers to optimize costs.
- Monitor and analyse transportation costs and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure proper inspection of warehouse during customer/regulatory Audits.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 to 5 years of work experience in Import/Export operations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Specialized training or certifications in Import/Export, Customs, or International Trade will be an added advantage.
- Good Communication skills.
