Mr. Pankaj Chhatrala is the CEO and Founder of OrthoHeal Private Limited. He is a young entrepreneur with innovations and creative ideas and someone who achieves whatever he works on. He has done his M.B.B.S. from M.P. Shah Medical College, Jamnagar. Being a medical graduate he has vast experience in medical Eco-system which helps him understand and translate problems of healthcare into possible opportunities. Dr. Pankaj has learned various technological skills and their application in healthcare set-up while doing his post graduation in Medical Science and Technology (MMST) at the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur. During his study, Dr. Pankaj has lead several research projects at IIT as well as other renowned institutes across India and has contributed in diverse subjects including Medical Imaging, Cancer Biology, Orthopedics, Bio-Materials, etc. Dr. Pankaj and his team have innovated a novel device for bone fracture immobilization, FlexiOH®, designed for fractured limbs/injured joints during their summer Internship at Stanford India Bio-design (now known as School of International Bio-design) in 2014, held at AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Pankaj is leading OrthoHeal Pvt LTD to commercialize FlexiOH® Technology and other innovative medical technologies.
So far, he has conceptualized and completed 7 different projects for different status quo in Healthcare out of which 4 have been completed, 3 patent filed, and 2 technologies which are licensed and being commercialized.
